Great game thread (as always) FL. TP and TPs all around. I don't think I will stay until 10 ET (4AM here).

Go Celtics! Play with Pride and show Heart!

P.S.: talking about heart, I loved this video of Jeff and that kid, Spencer. I haven't seen it posted here.

Two of my more favorite teams. Hoping for a Celtics W, though.

Because everybody here seems to hate Jeff Green.

I've seen it though. It's pretty awesome.

Nah, you can't hate Jeff Green, life is bigger than basketball. He may not live up to high expectations, but he's a true Celtic and a special player. He's going to win us a lot of games playing alongside Rondo and hopefully an All Star Center.

Go Celtics!

Celtics played great last night and I enjoyed the game a lot ...wish they could, have pulled off the win.

I expect them to go down losing again .

Stevens is doing an amazing job. Keeping their heads up and putting on a good show .......they sure didn't look like a tanking team last night against the warriors.

Lol No, you didn't.

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my
blood would’ve been green.  -  Bill "Greatest of All Time" Russell

I think the following matchups are fun ones which could go either way:

- Green vs Batum
- Crawford vs Matthews
- Bradley vs Lillard (depends on whether Bradley is hot)

Sadly I think the Bass vs Aldridge matchup is a horrible one for us, and if we stick with it a 6'7" Bass is going to get destroyed by LMA.

I think we'll have amuch better chance if we put Humphreys on Aldridge - Hump is taller than Bass, he has the strength of an ox (and is not afraid to use it) and has been a decent shot blocker this season.  Aldridge is more of a finesse bit, so putting a tough, scrappy guy like Hump on him could go in our favour.

Bass could then be switched on to Lopez which would probably work ok.  Even though Lopez has size on Bass, he's not especially athletic and not the most skilled big offensively, so Bass could probably handle him somewhat.  Plus Lopez would probably have trouble running out to defend Bass' jumper.

I think the keys to winning this game will be:
1. The Bradley / Lillard matchup
2. Who Stevens puts on LMA

If Bradley has a good game and can slow Lillard down defensively, and if Humphrey's plays Aldridge (and challenges him with physicality) then we have a chance to win.  If not, we probably lose.

Looking forward to this one because I'm hoping our guys will play with a chip on their shoulder after such a near miss last night. Would love to see Green have another good night, alongside our new MVP, Humphries.

No matter how many times AB hits that shot, I'll always hate it. Not far enough out to be a 3 and not close enough to be consistent, IMO.

I wish our offense always looked this smooth! If only we could play our 4th quarters the way we play the 1st.

If we can keep shooting over 70% we should be okay.
