I don't trust anyone who thinks Olynck is a competent basketball player.

And why on earth is the arena playing Bush? Is it 1998?

It's one of their only CD's that isn't scratched.

I honestly can't say I've seen a running floater that close go over the back board before.

And he followed it up with an airballed three.

Small sample size and all that, but I can't believe we traded up for this dude.

And I bet that you haven't noticed that since he returned from his injury, he's been shooting 46% from the floor and 50% from 3s... food for thought.

Also small sample size. 7/14 from 3 in the last 10 games. That said, they can play him 40 minutes a night for all I'm concerned. Let's see what he got...

All I'm alluding to is the whole "oh my god can't believe Ainge moved up to him" types of reactions are overblown considering how he's been executing lately. It seems completely out of context.

Ugh!  I just said to my television set, "if you get a T here, Jordan, you're dead to me."  And, then, what d'ya know?  He obliges.

Did you forget that you're not allowed to be anything other than gratuitously positive about the Celtics this year?

Kylnyk should go to the hands store and get some new hands.

And why on earth is the arena playing Bush? Is it 1998?

Crawford needs to focus his irritation a little better. Nice and-1.

I'm feeling a little fired up myself tonight.  I'm breaking from gratuitous positivity for awhile.  I think these guys need me to take a different approach with them.

I catch myself really pulling for KO but he just does not have it.

not consistently, no. he has flashes of excellent offense, but is still too timid and passes when he should shot or drive.

i think, hope, the being timid will go away with more time. heck, this is a year for development so i dont mind him getting minutes.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

After last night, I agree.

The whole Laptop on the halftime show desk routine seems really tacky to me, even if you are Jackie Mac (and to her credit, it's an iPad this time).

I don't trust anyone who thinks Olynck is a competent basketball player.

I don't trust anyone who can't learn to spell the names of Celtics players.

Listened to first half driving home from Amherst and the UMass game and liked what I heard. Looking forward to settling in and watching the second half.

Besides that Olynyk has only played 25 NBA games, I'm still optimistic he can be the complementary stretch 4 that Ainge said he could be on draft night. He just shows all the signs of someone really struggling with his confidence to the point that it seems like it's affecting his instincts and reflexes. For the sake of mixing sports analogies, it's like Saltalamacchia and Chuck Knoblauch not being able to throw back to the pitcher and first base respectively.
