if we've learned anything this year, Crawford and AB are not guards that should be on the floor at the end of a close game.
So go with Lee and the rookie Pressey?  Perhaps you prefer Bogans?  It's not like they have good choices here.

Jordan Crawford is NOT Paul Pierce, end of story.

Only Paul Pierce can take those shots. Hit or miss.

So closing out the game with only Humphries and Crawford shooting in the last 3 minutes doesn't seem like a great plan to me.

The play was for Crawford to go left and throw the ball behind Olynyk to Lee in the corner for the corner shot. He improvised and lost the game.

tonight was a lose/lose from a tanking perspective.

it was just a plain hard loss to swallow. at least olly looked good and at times the celtics ran a good offensive and credible defense.

but again...the mismatched talent on this team limits what they can do. enjoyable game to watch....even with the attempted heroics by crawford.

happy new year everyone!!!!

One of the first Stevens stubborn coach moments. Hope this benching of Bass, Green and Sullinger is useful down the road. The team we had out the final minutes could not score in the clutch.

Not Stevens' finest hour. Not sure why he benched Green but not Crawford. Not sure why he took out Pressey either.

Danny needs to trade Jcraw asap. Has little to no future with the team.

The guy follows the rules for the first half and tries to get others involved. But in the 2nd half, not sure if he is tired but changes to a different personality and looks to always shoot the ball. There are no drive and pass. No mixing things up. Just you have a hand in my face and i will shoot the shot

I can almost bet that wasn't the play Stevens drawn for them. Craw looked like he improvised on that one.

Watch the play again. That wasn't the play. Lee broke open to the left corner. Craford was supposed to go left and use the Olynyk screen on his man for a clear pass to Lee in the corner. Crawford went right and improvised the shot.

stevens agrees with you, and i am sure he had alternative realities/game plans in mind.
