Trade Jeff Green and Olnyk for Asik

Trade Green for Asik and bring up Chris Wright from the Maine Red Claws to replace him at forward.Green lacks the fire to be a longterm piece to build around. He can't create his own shot and disappears for long stretches of the game. Let's get the center we need, Olnyk is not the player I thought he'd be. So Green and Olnyk to Houston for Asik.

Asik is better then  wilt Chamberlain and shaquille O'Neal in their primes, so yeah seems like a steal for us!!!

Green and Crawford are 2 of the few that CAN create their own shot.  Is Green a star?  No way but you don't over trade for an average Cneter who's making above averge money.  There's no way I'd do that trade.  If I'm starting over I need young talented bigs like Kelly.  After less than half the season you're willing to give up on Olnyk?  Especially considering he's been hurt for part of the time?  Asik is a big who can't score period.

Kelly Olynyk will be lucky to be getting more than 10 minutes a game next season around this time of the year. And if he is, we're wasting a season.

Asik is definitely one of the best average centers in the NBA.  Gotta give it to him

Pretty sure the Rockets would do that in a heartbeat if we added an expiring Hump to the deal. They get a developing young big who can potentially stretch the floor for cheap, and lose a ton of wasted cap for a player they don't need.

Kelly Olynyk is, until Rondo is back on the court, our best playmaker. He's a Tommy Point collector and he's just overwhelmed by the speed and athleticism of the pro game. He'll be a totally different player when he gets to play consistent minutes. Age doesn't matter that much.

And Asik is a bad offensive player at any level. He was pure garbage in Eurobasket this summer, when he was supposed to be one of Turkish NT best players. He may have been injured or something, but he didn't look like a capable Euroleague center.

probably closer to the truth than many realize.  Also, Hump is the experienced vet they could use at PF that would help DH on the boards, defend, hustle and is a pretty decent scorer when working with a decent PG.  I suspect he'd do quite well in Houston.
