With both MKG and Jeff Taylor  out injured, DA should convince MJ to take Wallace.
GW goes back to HIS team, it might even inspire him to PLAY. The cats get a healthy SF to help with their push for the playoffs.

BOS sends Wallace
CHA sends MKG and Haywood

BOS gets a great defensive SF on a rookie contract that can become a very good player. They also get a center, useless yes, but still a 7 footer. Boston also sheds about 3M a year.

CHA is short on SF. Are they desperate enough to pull the trigger?

MJ isn't dumb enough to do this, unfortunately.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

Some of these proposals are so one-sided it's not even funny. They probably wouldn't trade their end of the bench guy like Gordon (expiring contract) for Wallace and you think they will just throw in their best prospect?!

No way MKG is so young and has way too much potential for them to trade him for an old declining SF who doesn't offer anything to Charlotte, a rebuilding young team. This has to be one of the most lopsided deals I have seen on this site. MKG is their best prospect (arguably) and he offers similar production as Wallace does this season. Nonsensical trade

Of course there should be an unprotected pick or two. But if you think about it, this trade makes more sense than it looks. The Bobcats are actually playing better ball since MKG got injured and Wallace is an energy guy that will play hard night in night out. That kind of energy motivates young teams.
People are so high on MKG. The kid was drafted second and is averaging 9pts 5rbds. Very bad 3pts shooter and no good FT shooter. If the 2012 draft was redone, he won't go top 5, maybe not even in the top 10
So yes, for a team that wants to win games, and lots of them this year, it makes a lots of sense. Throw in the nets (hawks so far) pick and there is a big chance they take it.

MKG is a similar energy kind of guy, and the reason folks are high on him is due to his huge potential. The Atlanta pick would not be very high if they continue on the path they are on at the moment, but I would also not want to give up and unprotected first in the best draft in a decade. Charlotte does not want to win games this year at all. They are looking to the future, and Kemba and MKG are both solid young guys. Another good pick this year and they are looking solid for the future, as long as MJ doesn't take another Kwame.

No chance would they I don't think

Of course there should be an unprotected pick or two.

They might insist on three.

How about GWall and Bass for Gordon and MKG??

We could include our 2015 Clips first rounder if necessary.

Thoughts?

Three picks sounds correct.  One pick to take on Wallace's contract and two picks to acquire MKG.  It would be an inefficient use of our assets, of course.

Chicago has Charlotte's pick. They can't afford to lose. So yes, a draft pick in this loaded draft, no matter how late it is, is something the Cats would want

A lot of trades going on with Charlotte on this site.

What if I just bought a bobcat and parked it at the Garden?
