This is what young teams do -- they fall apart late in games.

Games like this are what will eventually secure this team a lottery spot.

Picking 9th or 10th along with a feel-good year and nice development from Sullinger, Bradley, etc.

That's what I'm hoping for from this season at this point.

Agreed.  this team has beaten one decent team all year, at the buzzer.  We need to be realistic.

Yeah I'm hopping on this wagon now

Except, how could Boston end up picking 9th or 10th? They're gonna end up making the playoffs in this crappy conference.

I really like this Washington team.

If they improve their bench, I think they could be a 47-50 win type team.

We're not that good, people should calm down.

This team will look better some times, crappy the other ones. Today is one of those days.

Go Celtics!

Agreed. Having Nene finally healthy is enormous for them.

For the Celtics, this is what happens when you're drastically undersized. They can get off to hot starts but eventually they just get worn down with size. Nene, Gortat, and Seraphin combined for 37 points and 26 rebounds.

I mean you'll have teams like Miami and Indiana obviously making the playoffs, wouldn't surprise me if the Hawks, Wizards, Pistons, Raptors, maybe Nets even with the Lopez injury, and the Bobcats all finish ahead of the Cs. Sadly there is a chance we still make the playoffs though because our conference is that bad...

We;ve not been that good all year.  Lots of heart + Crappy conference= delusions of grandeur.  This team is fun and exciting to watch no doubt, but they are what they are...a rag tag band of misfits that are about two stars away from being contenders.

I still think the Raptors or Knicks will end up sneaking in ahead of them, and the Celtics will have the 9th or 10th best record in the East.

That'll be contingent on Danny making some moves to dump vets.  It'll also depend on what moves other teams make.

In any case, I could see the Celtics making the playoffs given the state of the division and the conference.  I just hope it doesn't happen.  Making the playoffs with this team would be a minor disaster considering the goals of the season and where this team is at.

Yeah.  The bench has been a huge issue for them for a while now, though.

I wonder if Danny will consider the rumored Jeff Green for Asik deal?  I still wouldn't do it but if a semi comparable SF that gets after it every night, comes along, I'd pull the trigger.

I really try to like Jeff Green. I really do. But I just can't. He's got the size. He's got the athleticism. Unfortunately, he doesn't have "it." He's infuriating to watch on a night to night basis as a fan.
