Hi all, long time lurker here.  Just wanted to say first that I love this site and the great analysis fellow Cs fan have here.

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=llnxkgv

Cs acquire: Amar'e Stoudemire, Bismack Biyombo

Bobcats acquire: Gerald Wallace, Iman Shumpert

Knicks acquire: Ben Gordon, Kris Humphries, Marshawn Brooks

Cs are able to rid themselves of Wallace's 3rd year and see if they can develop Biyombo as a legit center.

Bobcats save some money this year and get back a fan favorite, but do take long term salary in order to get Shumpert on their roster.

Knicks trade Shrumpert, but are able to get huge financial relief as well as get contributing players this year in Humphries and Gordon.

On first glance this seems to be a good deal for all teams.

Biyombo is a fascinating defensive talent that simply cannot score and the Cats are getting very frustrated with that fact as they did not play him a minute last night!!  The Cats desperately need some outside shooting, and Shumpert does NOT provide that.  Maybe Brooks should go to Charlotte.

Also, how does this affect our cap space for THIS year?  We cannot add any more money to avoid becoming a repeat offender I believe.

The C's would jump at that trade, as would the Knicks.  I think the Bobcats would probably say no, but if the pot was made just a bit sweeter they may go for it.

For my taste, there's still not enough outgoing 2014-15 salary commitments to allow Boston to improve the roster the following year. They'd be at $67 million before signing rookies or resigning Bradley. No chance to use the Nets TE.

I'd rather try Smitty's idea.

I doubt Shumpert is enough to get MJ to take Wallace.

If we get a top pick to go with Sully and KO, we may not need the space.

Rondo
AB
Pick
Sully
KO

would be a great starting point.

This would increase our team salary this year by 1.52 million, so this is a non-starter.  We simply cannot do that.

Highly doubt NY includes Shump for such a measley return.
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

Bobcats give up an expiring contract in order to take on Wallace's horrid contract and swap Biyombo for Shumpert.  I'd rather have Biyombo than SHumpert.  Bad trade for Bobcats.

Bismack is only 6'9.  I don't want a center that small.

Bismack is only 6'9.  I don't want a center that small.

He also has a 7'3 wingspan, strength and vertical leap to vacuum many rebounds.

His iq is only ok and not much offensive skills , but plays hard and is a very good rebounder

Understatement of the year.

Except for that skyhook he hit against us last game. :'(
