The Kings are looking for young players or draft picks in return as additional pieces of the reconstruction that centers on DeMarcus Cousins, Ben McLemore and their own pick, destined for the lottery, in the loaded 2014 draft.

Will be interesting to see what comes down in Sacto. May not be a good trade partner for the Celtics necessarily.

So they want to move Thornton?

Or Jimmer?

I don't even know what they have that might be considered an "asset" after those three (Boogie, ThriftShop and 2014)
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Pretty sure they want to dump Thornton for whatever.

Isaiah Thomas has been playing well, and has a cap friendly contract, so I imagine they'd like to keep him. Maybe move Vazquez instead?

Otherwise, not a lot to get excited about in Cowtown.

I see some sort of move involving the Knicks sending out Shumpert and receiving Jason Thompson.

Isaiah's their biggest, but he's on a super-cheap deal and the league is as deep as it's ever been at PG.

It's unlikely and would take more pieces, but I'm kinda hoping Brooklyn decides to pick up Thomas or Vasquez for Blatche, because I really, really want to see a Blatche/Boogie frontcourt.  The athleticism!  The pouting!  The hilarious Vines of them looking bored and glum in the Sactown "nightlife"!

They shouldn't be trying to get really young players and draft picks but a vet or two with playoff experience to get Cousins in line.

If John Salmons can't get it done I don't know what hope there is.

Maybe they could bring in a Ben Gordon type to go with him...
