Interested in the Fav/Vucevic matchup.

Gonna be a real test for the kid.  Wonder how short of a leash Stevens will have with him.

It just occured to me that I am very curious as to how E'twaun Moore v. Phil Pressey goes. Do not ask me why.

Oladipo might get double digit steals against our shaky ball-handlers.

I hope Moore does well. We could use him right now

I hope Moore does poorly.  I want a Celtics win.

Jeff green needs to assert himself early on in this game. Anything below 20 points from him tonight is unacceptable against this Orlando roster. I also want to see Wallace put or shut up tonight. I'm such a harsher critic of him since he started singing like a canaries to the media. Sully will have a double double tonight. Avery Bradley will have more turnovers than assists. I also want to see what olynyks shot selection will be. Stevens needs to get him in better positions to score.

Very interested to see the consensus "should've gone #1" pick play.

Starters

G: J.Crawford vs Jameer = advantage Orlando
G: Bradley vs Afflalo = advantage Orlando
F: J.Green vs Harkless = advantage Boston
F: Bass vs Maxiell = neutral
C: Faverani vs Vucevic = advantage Orlando

Bench

G: Pressey vs E.Moore = ??
G: C-Lee vs Oladipo = advantage Orlando
F: G-Wallace vs Turkoglu = advantage Boston
F: Olynyk vs Nicholson = neutral
C: Sullinger vs O'Quinn = advantage Boston

Not looking good for the Celtics.

Disagree with quite a few points from you here.

Crawford is currently much better than Jameer. Yes, Jameer is more of a PG than him, but Crawford's has a much greater positive impact on the game than Jameer.

To say nothing if the put Bradley to guard Jameer, then him by himself can completely stagnate Orlando's offense... we've seen it before.

I agree with Afflalo.

Agree with Green.

No way is Bass vs Maxiell neutral, that's clearly Bass advantage.

Pretty much agree with the rest.

F: Bass vs Maxiell = neutral

There's no way Bass vs. Maxiell is neutral.  That one's advantage Boston.

Yeah, I could be talked into that.

I really like Maxiell though. Bass brings more scoring + long range shooting but Maxiell is a better team defender + possession creator.

I think Maxiell's physical qualities help him in this matchup. Similar to Bass in that he is undersized 6-7 or 6-8 but built very strong and tough with good quickness. Very similar. Helps Max in one-on-one situations against Bass.

Also why Nicholson is still on the bench. Because he gets pushed around too easily. Which is very good news for Sully and Bass. I think both of those guys can eat him up. I wonder about Olynyk though. They might cancel each other out.

Maxiell has been pretty inconsistent with his jump-shot throughout his career. When he is hitting it at a serviceable clip (albeit on low volume), I think that gives him enough offense to make the matchup is neutral. When Maxiell isn't making enough of his jump-shots, and is really a hustle-only guy, I think Bass gets the edge because of his higher skill-level offensively.
