I love the way Oladipo moves on the basketball. Fantastic combination of strength, speed, agility, leaping ability and explosive quickness.

The guy just looks like a star in the making out there.

He definitely reminds me of Wade in a lot of ways.

Oh wow, Dwight Howard and Omer Asik combined for 40 rebounds tonight. 26 for Dwight and 14 for Asik. Jeez, they grabbed more rebounds between the two of them than the whole Bobcats team together (37).

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Michael Carter Williams NBA debut

22 pts 12 assists 9 steals 7 rebounds and only 1 turnover. :o

A bigger Rondo? Nickagneta might have called this.

Yeah, no, they are not giving up the possibility of that on a nightly basis for Bass and Crawford or whatever other silly trades people think of.

I'm actually kind of... rooting for the Lakers to win? :-X

They're playing hard, and it's almost... fun(?!) watching these dudes torch Doc and Co.

I DON'T KNOW HOW TO FEEL.

Given that some places have picked the Lakers for dead last, I can understand rooting for them to win enough games to not get a top five draft pick while also rooting for them to lose enough games to miss the playoffs.

That's the perfect scenario    .....for me too

the Heat tend to make point guards look incredible... Hence "Superstar Rondo" and Westbrook going off against them.

23 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds and nearly two steals a game is pretty incredible by itself.

Yeah.  Just remembering the playoff game where Westbrook dropped 45, 5 and 7 on them just a couple weeks after Rondo dropped 44, 10 and 8 on them.   Miami's defense is pretty point guard friendly.

Regardless, that's an incredible debut.

It's not technically "Opening Night", but what a great first day of league-wide play.  Lots of good games and big performances.
