Need big games from fav, olynyk, pressey.

Ab, green will be neutralized by derozan, gay, ross. It could be a handful

Really hoping Green puts the pre season behind him and plays like he showed at the end of last year.

CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

I think Faverani has to and will start against Jonas Valanciunas.

I don't like that Bass vs Amir Johnson matchup. I worry about Amir's strong rebounding. I think Kris Humphries would be a better option.

Luckily Johnson loves fouling like Glen Davis loves carbs.

BOLD PREDICTIONS

El Hombre Indestructible finishes with 10 points, going 1-1 from 3, and 6 boards in 28 minutes.

Gerald Wallace leads the Celtics in assists with 4.

Courtney Lee goes 1-3 from downtown and finishes with 3 steals.

Avery Bradley and Rudy Gay only score on long 2's and dunks/rim finishes, combining to shoot 0-7 from downtown.

I like going out on limbs too. Stevens goes big to start the game with Fav, Kelly O'Clinic, Crash, Uncle Jeff, and the Honey Badger.
“Being a Celtic is, every decision you make is about the team. Every cut you make is about the team. Every pass you make is about the team. You take yourself out of it. It’s not for everyone. If you don’t want to win, don’t want to play team basketball, and it’s more about you then you’re probably not a Celtic." Doc 2010

TP FL.

Thank you for this and, in advance, for the next 81.

Tough season ahead. C'mon Celtics and Celtics fans alike!
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

I'm going with:

Bradley, Green, Wallace, Bass, Faverani

as the starting lineup.

I'm so excited that real Celtics basketball is finally going to be underway.

Let's go Celtics!!
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Also I'll be perfectly happy to give up the 2 point disadvantage if we get to see a capital-E Epic Terrence Ross dunk.

Not really knowing much about the team, I'll just hope for a W, and perhaps some watchable basketball with a surprise or two. Just hoping though, all I can do at the moment :)

A least we can pay attention to rotations as though they mean something, and aren't just wild camp experiments.

Experiments, perhaps, but not wild camp ones.

I'm going with:

Bradley, Green, Wallace, Bass, Faverani

as the starting lineup.

I think going big on the wings against this Raptors team with DeRozan and R.Gay would be a good strategy. DeRozan is one of the bigger SGs in the league and has a very good post game nowadays. Sticking a bigger wing on him could cause him some issues.

Why couldn't Bradley been the guy who got suspended?  Watching him play (and I use the term loosely) takes years off my life.  Especially with Pressey sitting on the bench.

Yea!! It’s the one I like the best.

I would prefer it was KO than Bass. Bass cant defend the 4 or 5, if Bass is the 4, I use him against second unit bigs. The only reason this may work is because they are pairing Bass with the ONLY big on the roster who may help him and not open the paint in a free for all. Bass needs so much help on interior D... now, put him on the better 3s in the league and I love Bass on D. He is perfect when against guys like Melo and LeBron... doesn't stop them but makes it tougher on them.

I need to add that I am really pulling for my guy Fav, he will need to be a big part of our team. The only 2 bigs on the team that don't need to be paired with him are KO and Sully who can be paired together.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Well ....Stevens and DA won't have the big tanking weapon available tonight ....LOL  ;)

Sully and Bass on the court at the same time. .....maybe the worst pairing in the NBA....

Best way now to lose is leave Pressey on the bench and play Crawford and Brooks.
