If KO is in the ROY hunt, looks like a potential star, and Aldridge really wants out of Portland this trade is definitely possible. I'd be willing to give them

We of course add a first rounder or 2 in this package and whatever else they may want. But Aldridge is a guy Rondo needs.

If Green isn't working out, here is another version.

Both of them are extremely lopsided in our favor even if we add multiple picks.
Especially the second one.

Opinions???

The one where we get Rudy Gay and LMA just made me burst out laughing. Sorry.

But none of these trades would benefit Portland at all.

1) They don't want KO... They want a legitimate, banging, rebound grabbing, and defense splitting Center. LMA is currently the Center, or was for the lack of a true Center. Which LMA hates, because that isn't his actual position.

2) They really don't want Humphries... I can see them at least wanting him for the cap space in the future to pick up FA. But Portland has already exclusively said LMA isn't for trade, unless they get a really good deal in return...

3) Our draft picks won't even be worth that much unless the Nets completely suck. And to be honest... I wouldn't wish the Nets to suck even for us getting a better draft pick, I have too much respect for Garnett and Pierce getting that ring together. I personally think DA could steal another player in the draft, but to other GM's who don't have that ability to detect true talent/potential. I don't think they would want to take our pick or bite.

But seriously.. That LMA+Rudy Gay made me burst out laughing.. Why would they also want our trash? Courtney Lee? Lol that is why the Raptors gave up a lot of their pieces to grab Gay in return?

Bradley and Lee to Toronto for Derozan
Green, Sully, Bass and Crawford for Aldridge and Robinson

Boston core of Rondo, Derozan and Aldridge
With expirings and team options, 14/15 could get another top free agent under 14 mil
Can't stop, Rondo!

If Derozan can improve his D, which with his athletic tools shouldn't be hard, that team plus some versatile FA and we are contending

If LaMarcus wants out of Portland, he probably doesn't want to come to Boston.

I think this is a more realistic starting point. Honestly, I'd be perfectly okay with it.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

#1) LMA isn't really available. Portland (Neil Olshey) has explicitly said that LMA isn't on the block, LMA has said he doesn't want a trade.

2) If hypothetically things devolved in Portland to the point where they wanted to bottom out, Portland would only want a proven blue chip asset. That excludes anyone currently on out roster. Picks won't be enough.

The Marcus isn't really a realistic trade target, in any fashion.

Yeah, the Blazers are right on the cusp of playoff contention. I doubt Paul Allen's eager to bottom out again.
