These refs are awful.  It's the preseason.  Let them play.

Absolutely terrible they killed C's tempo.

You can say whatever you want about Bass (and he frustrates me too sometimes) but you can't deny the man's a worker. Love the effort.

That's the big problem. His high effort + his average skill set are just good enough to get him starting minutes on the court for this team. And then the fan frustrations. He not good enough to start.

No, i agree, don't want him starting either. Don't see a future on this team for him either but seeing as i'm in full positive mode this season, i'm pointing out or focusing on the admirable and good stuff as much as possible.

Maybe a contending team will give us a expiring player for him.

I not saying we won't win a few games eventually...  But I wouldn't bet a wooden nickel  right now that this team could beat anybody in a regular season game ......

When you subtract Allen,  Pierce, Garnet,  and Rondo out indefinelty ..........

To me this equals  TANK

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
My thoughts on the game? Watched 5 minutes after it started, so my thoughts generally applies to who I originally saw.

1) Pressey seemed a little out of it. I noticed he has a little more chemistry with KO/Faverani, and Brooks, (as in he seems to feed Brooks more, and trust him more.) Also I've noticed that he seemed scared to try to drive in when he had a couple openings. But I'm hoping we get more minutes of him at the PG, and Crawford can back him up.

2) KO seemed really impressive, and especially alert on defense. He isn't laterally or athletically amazing, but he seems to have great hands, and grabbed the steals. Plus his passing is still something wonderful to look at.

3) AB seems more relaxed. You don't see him trying to rush or take a shot that may or may not go in. He seems more fluid. He gets the ball, analyzes the defense, and just shoots it. No hesitation.

4) Crawford is taking smart shots, although he just took one a minute ago that I didn't like... Shot clock had plenty left, and he took it from far..
