I have an opportunity to pick up Foster. I'd have to send Witten, Le'veon Bell, and Fitz.

Current Roster:

Vick

AP
Forte
Bell

Alshon Jeffrey
Garcon

Witten

Prater

Bench:

Newton
Fitz
Amendola
Johnson
Harvin(Stashed)

If my waiver claims are successful, I'll also have Blackmon Keenen Allen, and Garrett Graham.

I'm just a little nervous about parting with Witten, but that would be one hell of a RB group.
Would this be a smart move?

I would do it, for sure. I am always a fan of trading quantity of quality in fantasy. You replace Bell with Foster, pick up the best TE you can find (Gronk is coming back, whoever has him in your league is likely to drop their current TE), and you aren't even starting Fitz (for some reason)...go for it - you only live once  ;)

Absolutely do it, especially if you do snag Blackmon.
At least a goldfish with a Lincoln Log on its back goin' across your floor to your sock drawer has a miraculous connotation to it.

Unbelievable...So the guy has cold feet and backed out. I figured the trade would be good for him because he needed receivers and Bell would soften the loss of Foster.

But now it gets better. There is a trade in the works between the division leader where she would send Lynch or McCoy to a 1-4 team for Gronk and Dez Bryant.

Got to veto that for sure.

Bummer the dude bailed on your trade, but that second trade seems pretty fair to me.

How about this trade proposed to me?

Acquiring - AJ Green, Andre Ellington
Relinquishing - Victor Cruz, Gio Bernard, Jermichael Finley

Rest of Team
TE - Julius Thomas
RB - Trent Richardson, Alfred Morris, Joique Bell
WR - Vincent Jackson, Torrey Smith, Kenbrell Thompkins, Deandre Hopkins

Start 2 RB, 2 WR, with a RB/WR flex only

So basically I swap AJ Green for Victor Cruz in my starting lineup and give up some bench depth (though Ellington is starting to really eat into Mendenhall's carries and may be the outright starter soon).

I think I should do it as I have more confidence in Green than Cruz, but it is close.  Thoughts?
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Wow, honestly thats a tough one.  Do you know the strength of schedule for the remaining games for each player?  Also, what would the playoff matchups look like for the two?

Its so close in my mind the matchups make a big difference

Green seems to have a better schedule (playoffs would be - Indy, Pitt, Minny - Cruz is SD, Seattle, Detroit) and seems to be a more consistent target than Cruz (less WR options).  Though even with Eli's struggles he is still a better QB than Dalton and because Green is really the only WR he gets a lot more double teams.

I was able to trade Le'veon for Gronk to a guy that was desperate for a rb. Now I plan on trading gronk for either Morris or Bush.

If I trade for Bush, I do run a risk of helping one of the better teams get even better. But I think he might help me a bit more than morris.
