I figured if your team made it to the conference semi-finals, you pretty much are a win now team so that would disqualify you. I think that's fair.

Oh, I clearly don't have the youngsters to mount a real campaign for TOTF. Those two are the only ones on my roster that might amount to something special, I think.

Boston, Philly, and of course Detroit jump out at me in the East. Washington too?

None of the West teams really grab me.

I wouldn't consider the Bucks to be a front runner for this award, but they shouldn't be ignored either.

Obviously they don't have the depth of young talent a team like Detroit or Philly do, but Paul George (23) and Mike Conley (26-at start of season) aren't exactly old, particularly in the case of George.  That stands out to me as a pairing that could be really good together for a long time.  Add in Tyler Zeller and Greg Smith, who will both be in their 2nd season this year, and I think they would have a solid future.

Oh yeah, Ryno is actually only 25 himself.

Detroit -- a core of Anthony Davis + Anthony Drummond + Bradley Beal along with several young talented supporting pieces to work with them.

What was the criteria to be eligible. Not saying the Knicks should be a front runner by any means. but a line up consisting of Rubio, Green, Sanders,Lopez and Derrick Williams has no mention? Strange.

With that being said I think it has to be Detroit.

If your team made it to a conference semi-final then your team was ineligible.

I think I'm going Detroit here as in 3-4 years they could be 7-8 deep in possible high quality starter talent and 3-4 deep in possible All-Star talent.

What's not to like about Boston? 1 top tier prospect, 2 second tier prospects (Hayward, Jonas), promising young bench players (Isaiah Thomas, Patrick Beverley, Fournier, Bazemore, Terrance Jones)

Sleeping on Boston...AGAIN!

Detroit has two top tier prospects, two second tier prospects and a boatload of other tier three prospects.

As much as I think Kyrie will be the best pg on the planet for about 10 years soon, that Detroit is no joke with their young front court depth and size. Solid young backcourt too. I voted Detroit.
The only color that matters is GREEN
