HOBOKEN, New Jersey, December 31, 2013 (ENS) – Tigers are in trouble. The largest of the world’s cats, a species that’s existed for two million years, is slipping away before our eyes. Few realize that just 3,000 tigers remain in the wild. I just heard unofficial news that 100 tigers were poached in India in 2013.

A century ago, more than 100,000 roamed 30 nations; today, they hang on in 12. Scattered in small pockets across Asia, they’ve disappeared from 93 percent of their former range. Without serious intervention, tigers could be exterminated from the wild within our lifetimes, though others will languish behind bars in captivity...

I never would have guessed that there are only 3,000 wild tigers left in the world.

Everyone has broke the law at times.   We all speed and jaywalk.   I have committed assault more times than I can count on hands and toes when a bouncer and a soldier.

I never thought about a life of crime ( soldier's do kill though) because I am too easy to identify in a lineup. (I am over 2 meters tall)   But I will tell you this that most people faced with violence forgot a lot of details and can't recall cramp about it.  I got offered a job in collections once if you know what I mean.... It wasn't phone stuff and I turned it down.

Why does everything so good for you have to be so bad?

- on a serious cut right now trying to 8% bodyfat
- staying dry in January. Not even a beer for me after the excess that was Christmas.
- I stopped dipping, a habit I picked up in 2013 and am trying to leave there.

Of everything I just want to pack a fat lip right now and play 2K.

I think it is important for dads to know how important touch is to their children, and that it is great to follow the lead of children older than infants. By this I mean that infants just need lots of cuddling and rocking and closeness, but once they get old enough to interact, they may ask for specific hugs or “pick me up” or kisses. If possible (obviously not if you are holding a hot pot of dinner), do what they ask, because it shows that you are attached to them and care about their needs and wants. It also shows them that you have a deep love for them that cannot be put into words. This is very soothing for children. And don’t worry about “spoiling” your little one; touch is not a way to spoil them. Giving them a lot of things that they don’t need is a way to spoil them.

As an affectionate father this provided a level of vindication and convinced me that we should relinquish the stigma attached to being a love showing and affectionate dad.

My Bucket List

Travel: Japan, Hong Kong, Paris, Dubai and Beirut and London again. The monotony of Boston everyday is killing me

Reach 8% bodyfat or lower again and maintain while clean bulking. All natty.

Finish my Masters.

Go skydiving. Cliche, I know.

Buy a condo or house that I will eventually move to in Florida.

Finish my half sleeves.

Find a niche and start a business.

 Profit. Become a millionaire.

This list is evolving...

Down to about 11% body-fat. Not bad considering where I started:

Ode to the Beastie Boys. Def unique. I'm looking forward to this album dropping in November.
Since we're digging in this thread....

I'm still listening to this album nonstop.

Sorry JSD, I refuse to watch anything with Sarah Silverman (or Chelsea Handler while we're at it).
