18 PPG, 6 RPG, 2.5 APG, .480 FG%, .400 3%, 1.5 SPG, 1.5 BPG, 82 games.

NBA All Star.

In a conference with LeBron, Melo, George, Pierce, etc -- not to mention plenty of quality PFs -- that's not an All-Star stat line.

Green is my favorite player in the NBA, so I'm predicting a massive breakout year. I think he is on the cusp of putting all the tools together (the size, length, hops, drives, smooth jumpers, D, rebounding ... and most of all CONFIDENCE).

I'm going with 28 PPG.  He will be top 5 in MVP voting with LeBron, D. Rose, Durant and harden.

I'm reaching for the stars here, but it's a blog. Whatever!!

25 ppg / 4 apg / 7 rbg (he has an incentive to do well in rebounds IIRC) / 1.5 blocks per game;

NBA All Star;
Peavey Bass Player - relearning to play after 10 years sucks;

Yea, I'm gonna say 28ppg is more than a stretch seeing as even the best doesn't avg that. Melo and Durant did last season and 3rd was KoMe with 27 then 4th was LeBroid w/ 26. Now LBJ could easily avg more if he had a lesser surrounding cast but 28 for Green is way out there! I would LOVE it but I can't even imagine it and I'm known to think crazy things (like in another year or two FAB would be our starting center and a defensive beast)! So if you're out doing me, you gotta admit you're out there lol!
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

It could be.  James and Anthony will most likely get voted in as the starting forwards.  I don't think it's a given that Paul Pierce, Paul George, and the etceteras put up better numbers than my predicted Jeff Green numbers.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

PG: G. Hill/D. Schroder
SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

My concern about Green isn`t can he hit the heights, it is can he keep it going thru a whole season? I reckon the Cs win reccord could swing as much as 15 games based on how hot or cold Green is for any stretch of games. When he is hot he is a massive match up dilemma that will create problems for all but the most elite team defence schemes. When he is cold, ugh!

  • No contaban con mi astucia !!!
I wouldn't be surprised to see him hover around 19 ppg with 5 boards and 4 assists. He'll have a legitimate shot at most improved too, if his efficiency is high enough.
I was about to post pretty much exactly those stats, doubting whether to put 5 or 6 rebounds.

So, seconded.

YEAHHHHHHH!!!!

But wait, I had the 19/5 up first, so isn't that really ..umm thirded?
NO. You didn't have the 4. They're important, you know. Counts for 8 points.

;)

HARHARHAR. TP's dispensed.

ok I will say 20 are u scared?
p.s. 24, 18, 3,40,...............

It's not really about him being hot or cold it's whether he's engaged fully... he goes into Mr. Non-Aggressive mode at times. He has started off missing easy shots in games and still remained aggressive and start to make them b/c he keeps forcing the action. Then he'll have games where he makes the shots but takes so few... or games where he's hot but will disappear for 2 or so quarters after. Green has to go out and show he wants to be the man like he did late last season but he should be get more shots. If G8 plays like that most games he could really shine, everyone has off games but he needs to show the effort regardless.
