You know who's not getting talked about? The dynamic duo of John Wall and Joakim Noah.

I agree. You did an excellent job with the back-to-back picks and Wall/Noah is a super dynamic duo. I can't wait to see how you build around them.

C) Sour grapes, bro

Are you not familiar with my oeuvre?

I wanna make some joke of how this is analogus to "You Know My Steez" by Gangstarr, but man I can't "Are you not familiar with my oeuvre?" is my comment of the year. Holy crap. Wow that's profoundly funny.

My chance to leave on a high note?

Nick can you find a replacement GM for the Spurs on short notice? We've got slimming black unis and a solid core.
This is definitely more of your oeuvre, right?

Please let it be more of your oeuvre!!!

Guys, guys, guys! It's okay, Lakers have the best front court anyways so stop fighting...

Er, when he's feeling it, my boy Love out rebounds your two big men together.

Love: 14 rpg, Diggler + Young Gasol: 14.6.

When he's feeling it, your boy Love injures himself doing pushups.

Oh, oh can I talk about the defensive difference WW? Can I?!

Sure, I'd be interested to see how Nowitzki and Love match up. I certainly don't begrudge Gasol his DPOY, particularly ahead of James, who's overrated as a defender. That doesn't change the fact that you're getting fewer than 15 rebounds out of your touted best front court.

Lacking consistent offense. Maybe wall can improve this year
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Not that the Mod Squad needs me to promote the Celtics on Celticsblog, but selecting 13th in the 1st round and 23rd in the 2nd round and ending up with Pau Gasol and Kyrie Irving is darn impressive.

Also, hats off to fwf for making what I think is an awesome pick in Millsap to add to Kobe Bryant. there just are not a lot of guys that would work well with Kobe but I think Millsap would be ideal.

Both teams had some shrew trades moving down and getting high quality in the 2nd.

Has anyone taken a look at the Atlantic division:

Boston
Guards: Kyrie Irving
Forwards:Pau Gasol
Centers:

New York
Guards: Rajon Rondo
Forwards:
Centers: Brook Lopez

Brooklyn
Guards: Russell Westbrook
Forwards: Kahwi Leonard
Centers:

Philadelphia
Guards: Stephen Curry
Forwards:
Centers: Demarcus Cousins

That's a dang tough division right there. Makes me wish the NBA would do a weighted schedule like the NFL and MLB to play more in division games and promote rivalries.

More combos I like:

Wall Noah in Washington
Iggy Love in San Antonio
Lebron Ibaka in Minnesota
West Duncan in Phoenix
Hibbert Randolph in Golden State
Gasol Nowitzki in Lakerland
Conley George in Milwaukee
Durant Williams in Indiana

And though I didn't like the value ron got with his first trade, that trio in Chicago of Holiday, Aldridge and Chandler is really good.

Rebounding is one of many facets of the game. I think everyone can agree that defense is more valuable than rebounding though.

Well, that run on bigs was something I should have seen coming and been better prepared for.

I like Conley and George quite a bit, but now I'm gonna need to get 2 bigs in the next 3 rounds.

Hmm.

I think there are still alot of good bigs "stat-wise" and was debating going after a PF to put next to Aldridge, but at the end I wanted a defensive C and Chandler was the best one available. (Though he doesn't put up fancy stats.)

I think Central division would be the best division if Detroit hadn't gone for TOTF, but either way they have a frontcourt that has the potential to be out of this world.

Also PM me as I'm in the trading mood!

I left a bunch of great tandems out. As Roy said, this is wide open this year as the GMs have done a fabulous job thus far.

Garnett and Horford is probably the best defensive front court duo thus far and highly versatile. getting a PG that can facilitate an offense and use those guys properly is tantamount but very doable.

Got to say I am intrigued by the Melo and Deng duo as well. A quality PG and a rim protecting/rebounding presence and that is a very tough core to match up with.

Wade Pierce went to the Finals in last years CB Draft so got to love them.
Davis Drummond has to be the leader for TOTF.
Rose Griffin is an exciting duo that should get to the playoffs and beyond.
And don't sleep on Green Howard as I feel both could have big years this year.
