Two days ago, Miles Chamley-Watson became the first US man to win the World Championships in Foil! I know almost none of you care, but this was a pretty huge day for my sport!

Congrats to Miles Chamley-Watson.  Representing USA.

I dig the Captain America-esque face shield.

I've been taking fencing lessons since early last year, (about a year-and-a-half, just once-a-week), and until you try it, don't shirk it ... it's extremely strenuous and very exacting, (I think that's what I love about it ... I'm a detail guy). Congrats to the US team!

That's unreal. That's like the equivalent of America winning the world cup or .....maybe....Armenia winning the world baseball classic. Him and Keeth Smart getting it done.

I did semi respectably against Ivan Lee once.  Once.

I miss Keeth and Ivan, so much fun to watch fence.

One of the awesomest things I ever saw was the time I saw Keeth get beat. omg.  He was going a million miles an hour all gumby like and the other dude just parry reposted and it was done. I think it freaked him out and changed him and made him into what he became after that. Sometimes getting beat is the best thing that can happen to you. Like the way the college all stars beat the dream team.

Wow.  He owned that guy. Just owned him. The other guy must've felt almost helpless.

That first touch is just disgusting.

"The uploader has not made this video available in your country."

SCREW, YOU, AMERICA.

Seriously. I hate the whole copyright-in-different-countries thing.

Whatever happened to "one world"?

Bah.

Wish I could see this :(

End of tantrum.

Yeah, the software can be a pain sometimes ;)

In case you were wondering: there was an "s" behind "http". So make sure it says http:// NOT https://.

Hope that helps!
