Ray took less money to leave while the Celtics were still strong, while KG was asked to leave for the good of the team while the team was on decline.

That was a semi-classy answer from Ray, but he is still a traitor

Regardless of the reasons Doc and Kg did what was best for them. . just like Ray. Doc expressed his disappointments about Ray leaving numerous times..he did the same. They just happen to get something out of Doc leaving.

Taking several millions of dollars less to play for your rival is a cowards move.  The situation absolutely matters.

It's not the same. Doc and Ray left, but KG was pushed out the door.

I love KG and am not a Ray fan at all, but what KG did is arguably worse.

KG seems to have threatened the team not to trade an asset (Pierce) to other than where Pierce approves--or KG would neither have agreed to a trade or played for the C's this year.

This. The situations completely different. Not to mention KG was actually traded and we got assets back for him and PP to help with the rebuild. Ray left for our rival for a paycut when we were expected to be the team to rival Miami. He threw a tantrum and left for nothing.

Who cares? I've been over Ray for the longest. His goal was to get a ring and he got it. It was because of him that they had a G7. I give Kg more of a pass, but Doc and Ray's situation is same.

That's a jump.

More likely, Danny worked with both of them to create a situation that worked for all parties. KG had a no trade clause, he was always the master of hIs own fate.

Ray opted to leave Boston and go to Miami.  Boston wanted him to stay and offered him money to stay.

KG was asked by Boston, "we would like to send you to Brooklyn, will you please go?"  And KG said OK.

Those are not the same thing.

Exactly.
This all stems from Doc choosing LA.

We all know once Doc is gone, KG is gone, once KG is gone, Pierce is gone.

I think Danny, did a good job of getting assets and in return while still being on good terms with Doc KG and PP.

I'm positive Danny wanted the best for KG and PP, and he put them in a really good situation. They have a legitimate shot of taking it all this up coming season.

Ray Allen on the other hand, left Boston for Miami, a team that they took 7 games in the Conference finals.
Remember all those free throws he missed in the ECF against the Heat? this guy is a 90 percent free throw shooter for his whole career.
I think leaving was in the back of his mind at that time.
That's a traitor.

Who cares what Ray has to say?  I'm sick of him.
