After getting Kriss Humphries and Gerald Wallace from the Nets, the Celtics turn around and deal them to Charlotte for Ben Gordon and Tyrus Thomas.
The Celtics do it because they have enough power forwards and exchange Wallace's bad contract for a significantly worse player on a bad deal that is a year shorter. Charlotte does it to get rid of Thomas and get some help at their miserable power forward position.
I'd also ask for Jeff Taylor and the right to swap picks with the worst first-round pick owned by Charlotte. They don't have their own, but they have protected picks from Detroit (top
and Portland (top 12). It may end up not happening, but it can't hurt to ask.
