I have always been a major fan of football and have been a draftnik for many decades and also coached youth football. However with the pitch and catch rule changes, it isn't nearly the sport it was.
Basketball has been my main playing sport for half a century. Last night I high arced over a 20 something 6'6 stud high off the glass for a bank shot and the thrill was still there-smile.  However the way the NBA now has their referees call the game makes it difficult to watch other than to admire some of the skill.

Always loved basketball; but was never that skilled. Played odd combo of Tennis and Football in HS. Then discovered Lacrosse in college. Awesome combination of speed, athleticism and physicality. Hand-eye coordination from tennis also helped. Come winter coach told us to play Basketball to develop play making/passing skills. Came full circle. Nothing beats the grace and athleticism of Basketball.

Lived in Philly for '83 and the Dr. J era, was in Boston for '86 and the Bird era - the rest is history.

Played a ton of soccer growing up.  Really helps with coordination with basketball.  With watching enjoy all the other Boston teams.

Football I guess.  But for me, it's almost basketball or nothing.

I actually like the NFL better than the NBA, but the Celtics are my all time favorite team of all sports. I watch all the local teams though.

basketball is no.1 for sure. i just find it so much easier than other sports, and i challenge myself in it by playing in an adults a-grade comp. played on andrew gaze which was terrifying haha

but no.2 would be aussie rules, which probably wont mean all that much to many of you haha, but thats huge in melbourne

but basketball above all else

Mine would have to be volleyball! I could always jump high and started playing a lot of sand and court ball at around age 20. Living in the midwest guys just dont play a lot of volleyball and it's too bad bacause it's a great game. I actually think it takes more athletic ability to play it then any sport I have played.

Tennis

I could watch that all day and never get bored. It gets to a level where its so addictive

It's rare, but its the only sport where I can care less who wins and still really enjoy the game
I have a few favorite players like Federer or Tsonga, but just watching Tennis is gratifying enough where I don't have to root for a certain side

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.
Football, mostly.

I like rugby too, as well as tennis.

Unlike most basketball/football lovers, I actually appreciate soccer. Their best players are amazingly quick and their footwork is fun to watch.

I like Marcus Smart
