Rondo-Bradley-Green-Sullinger-Garnett

Terry-Lee-Pierce-Bass-Pachulia

Healthy, we have two of the top 30 players in the league, some emerging young sub-all-stars, and great scoring off the bench.

Was thinking about blowing it up, but if you are the second best team, you have a punchers chance...
"All I have to know is, he's my coach, and I follow his lead. He didn't have to say anything in here this week. We all knew what we had to do. He's a big part of our family, and we're like his extended family. And we did what good families do when one of their own is affected." - Teddy Bruschi

I'd say Indiana is the 2nd best team in the east.

When the entire conference is healthy, we're at best 5th best team in the East behind the Heat, Pacers, Bulls, and Knicks with the current roster.

Where did Pachulia come from? (lol)

Anyway, the answer is no.

There was a reason why we were the 7th seed this year. Because are just about the 7th best team in the East, if that.

No. We are not even the third best team in the east.  Chicago with a healthy Rose is better than us. Add the pacers and the nets to that mix.

I'd take a healthy Celtics roster over BRK roster any day. Same for the Knicks. We probably fall behind Miami/Indiana/Chicago based on pure talent (health is a whole other discussion)
*CB Miami Heat*
Kyle Lowry, Dwayne Wade, 13th pick in even numbered rounds, 18th pick in odd numbered rounds.

I'd say third, Chicago isn't as good as us.

They would have been the 2nd best team this year if not for injuries.

Next year? With KG and Pierce another year older? Who knows. Their decline is getting more and more worrying. Need some serious reinforcements to feel comfortable about this team's chances next year.

i have green goggles as bad as anyone but this can't be serious. even when rondo was healthy we were a 500 ball club. if we can swing a legit big man then maybe next year. maybe.

even Ainge clearly stated recently that brining back KG, Pierce, and Rondo is not enough, we need major moves if we want to contend. 2nd best in the east? No way. Bulls, Pacers say hello.

The Knicks and the Nets also have a case.

We were a .500 team for much of the season when we almost won the title and we were a .500 team for much of last year when we almost went to the finals. We go through stretches like that every year, and it doesn't mean any more than it did in any of the prior years.
