The deadline to sign camp contracts is the end of preseason, correct?

Okay thanks. By the way, anyone know where I can pick up one of those Boston Strong shirts given out at the playoffs last year? Or were they strictly giveaways?

The New York Knicks are pleased to resign Golden Generation, back-up point guard Pablo Prigioni to the qualifying offer of $988,872.

Maybe I missed something, but how is this a legal transaction?  I was under the impression players cannot be signed to their QO until 10/21.

You are correct sir. No big deal though, TWW just has to wait another week til he can sign Pringles to the ridiculous discount he's getting.

Omri Casspi looking great again for Houston today, and I think I'm gonna be okay, you guys!

5/7 from the field, 2/4 from 3, 9 boards, 13 pts in 24 minutes. Pretty awesome, considering the role he's playing. Sweet.

Alex Len played well tonight too. 3-6 from the field, 9 boards, 2 blocks and 4 fouls in 25 minutes, logging many of them against Tim Duncan. Super raw (potential band name?) but encouraging.

So me and IP threw out some superlatives in the quarterly, but thought it'd be fun for other people to nominate some. Break out team, most underappreciated in power rankings, etc.

I'll toss one out there:

Team We All Talk About Being Really Good In The Future, But We Probably Don't Really Think about HOW freaking good they're going to be: Pecans

I think we're all kind of victim of forgetting about Anthony Davis. Kind of dissappointing rookie campaign, and now you hear next to nothing about him. But as a reminder: he's got length, shooting range, can jump out the gym and really loves playing defense. After enduring some growing pains in his rookie season I see a big step up this year (and then a colossal one the year after).

And to me, I don't think you can put a better player next to him than DMC (who I think will get a breath of fresh air playing alongside guys who are willing to pass to him)

Slightly off topic, but I'm way too late to the game on this:

I had no idea that the Pecans also gave up a 1st round pick with Nerlens Noel to get Jrue Holiday. Historically terrible?

Team nobody seems to be paying attention to, yet was one game from the Finals this past season, and should only be better this year....

Indiana Pacers.

They maintained their spot in the power rankings, but I just never seemed to notice much discussion about them.  Almost as if they're too boring or something.  Paul George is going to terrorize the league this year.

Well 4 in the top-50! Pretty...prett-ty good.

Who else has 4?

Minny: Kawhi, Love, Rubio

Houston: Holiday, Harden, Ibaka...I feel like Im missing one.

Miami: Big 3 and Ray Allen...did Ray Allen go yet?

Chicago: Rose, Smith, Noah

Finally looked at it.  I would have had 3 in the top 50 if Big Al wasn't undervalued.

5 in the top 100 is a good start. (where one should be top 5 and another top 15)

Running the Clippers with Redz.

We're kinda like the Spurs were for the last decade+.  We aren't going to dominate SportsCenter, and we aren't going to give the media a ton of headlines (the occasional Hibbert press conference gaffe aside), but we're going to go out there and just win basketball games.

We've lost nothing important.  We kept David West. We gained Jarrett Jack, a year of experience and battle scars for our young stars, and potentially a healthy Danny Granger who was the best player on the team just two years ago.

I say, bring it on.
