Send Garnett and Rondo to Denver

Recieve: Lawson and Iguodala S&T
Use Pierce's contract to land one of the Power Forwards

Lawson
Iguodala
Green
Power Forward (big al? Millsap?)
?

or dream situation land Shabazz in the draft

Lawson
Iguodala
Shabazz
Green
Al Jefferson

that's a tough team to get through assuming Shabazz can put up points

Starting 5 should be able to contribute 70 points a night

So Denver's new lineup would be

G - Rondo, A.Miller
G - Fournier, J.Hamilton
F - Gallinari, W.Chandler
F - Faried, A.Randolph
C - Garnett, McGee, Koufos, Mozgov

Trade one of those centers for an extra two guard. Maybe to Boston for Courtney Lee. That would balance things out a bit better.

Or maybe start KG at PF.

G - Rondo, A.Miller
G - Fournier, J.Hamilton
F - Gallinari, W.Chandler
F - Garnett, Faried
C - McGee, Koufos, Mozgov

Faried would be a game-changing force off the bench. Makes sure they get more minutes to their big men and cut A.Randolph out of the rotation.

If the nuggets did this their gm would be fired on the spot! Giving up iguodala would hurt that team big time. But I do like it for the C's if we are rebuilding.

Even more than the Josh Smith band wagon I'm on, I never get off the Iggy one. Would love to have him here.

That being said, he hasn't really panned out in Denver (even though you think he would) and he may walk this summer (UFA?) so they would only gain from a trade involving him.

The Lawson part is interesting. I like his game too but Denver would really need to find a star, especially a scorer, to fill out that roster.
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

I don't think Denver can afford Iguodala on a new contract especially after signing McGee for 10 mil/year. Plus throwing KG and switching Lawson with Rondo on that team puts them over the top. I can't see why they wouldn't do it. Rondo also sells tickets (this is the one downside for boston, it makes Jeff Green the most marketable celtic which is bad for national TV games and whatnot)

It helps boston overall however. But personally I'd prefer a tank in the hopes of landing wiggins who I think will find a way into Toronto unfortunately

This is the worst trade idea in a while IMHO.  Rondo is FAR better than the defenseless Lawson.  Garnett is one and a half times the defender and one and a half times the offensive player.

I really like Denver as a destination for Pierce. This trade, no so much.
