1.  Trade Pierce for Harrison Barnes and a pick.  GS gets a veteran presence for a deep playoff run next year.

2.  Trade KG for Bledsoe, Jordan, and a future pick.  CLippers gets veteran presence and defensive presence they sorely need.

3.  Trade Rondo to Atlanta for Al Horford and Jeff Teague (would need to be S/T I think he is restricted FA?).  This frees up cap space, perhaps allowing Atlanta to get buddies Rondo, JSMoove and Howard together in the ATL.

Our team becomes:

PG:  Jeff Teague
SG:  Avery Bradley
SF:  Jeff Green
PF:  Al Horford
C:  Deandre Jordan

Bench:

Harrison Barnes
Eric Bledsoe
Jared Sullinger
Brandon Bass*
Courtney Lee*
JET*
Gorgui Dieng**

*or whoever they are traded for...hopefully some bigs
** or Mason Plumlee, or whatever big man we draft

That team is athletic as all hell, and contains an all-star in his prime (Horford), a potential all-star (Green), and 3-4 young guys with lots of potnetial (AB, EB, Barnes, Sullinger), plus teague who is an above average PG in the league.

You run this team out, and then, assuming no one is immediately a star or the team finishes top 4-5, you make 2 deals packaging some combo of AB, EB, Barnes, Jordan, Sullinger, Dieng, other draft picks for all-star caliber players --- potentially even simply in S&T deals in the great 2014 FA class when lots of stars would want to come play for Doc.  A core of Teague, Green and Horford remaining on the team would be VERY solid if you added 2 all-star caliber players.

Not sure if the money works, and yes I am probably dreaming a bit, but I think this is a realistic way to blow it up for a bunch of athletic young players with a LOT of potential, IMO.

It helps if you propose trades the other teams would actually agree to.

Which trade is so far fetched?

all those failed trades are not valid anymore. the market value for some of those players has changed since the trade rumors, ex. harrison barnes.

All three, unfortunately. #2 has probably the best chance of happening.

Barnes had a great playoffs, but with Steph Curry's ankle's providing some level of uncertainty as to how long his career will last (I sure hope he can get over it), I think it's something you consider.  Maybe you have to throw in a Lee or a Bass or an AB (while getting something else back too), but it's the base of something possible still, or at least call-worthy.

If Dwight gives word that if Atlanta can keep his buddy JSmoove and acquire his other buddy Rondo, I think Atlanta has to consider it.  Big IF, sure, but how can Atlanta turn down a Rondo, Smith, Howard big 3?  I'm not sure that's a title team, and they better keep Korver and some other shooters, but [dang] it'd be a beast on offense AND defense.

All of them.

Nope. This is how...

1) Trade Garnett to LA for Bledsoe/Butler/23rd pick

2) Trade Rondo/16th pick to SAC for Cousins/Isaiah Thomas/Salmons

3) Trade Pierce to Denver for Chandler/Koufos/Miller (buyout Miller)

4) Draft Steven Adams at 23rd

Bledsoe/Thomas
Bradley/Lee/Salmons
Green/Chandler/Butler
Sullinger/Bass
Cousins/Koufos/Adams

5) Allow Butler+Salmons come off the books next year ($16mill)

6)44 Mill payroll

7) Yea, that just happened

edit: It worked on NBA2k so it must be legit

Well everything is call-worthy. Long distance is free in the digital age.

But the Pierce for Barnes train has left the station, and it ain't coming back.
