Since when is having your team get outscored by 5.5 points per game for your 20 point games not putting up stats while getting your but kicked?

Wait, so you're saying a 5.5 margin = a "butt kicking"?

His team actually had a positive scoring margin for the 15+ rebound games +1.6

Orlando overall had a -7.0 scoring margin. That margin got worse as the season went on and Vuvevic got more playing time.

Just supports what Who is saing, he brings strong rebounding that's his value at the moment.

To elaborate further, you actually established my initial point. If their overall margin was -7 and he would be getting his numbers during blowout losses then his best games would be during these same blowouts (For argument's sake lets define blowout as a doubt digit loss). However, the opposite occurred. During 20 pts and more scoring outputs the difference improved by 1.5, while in his 15 and over rebounding games improved the margin by a significant 8.6. So if anything, the blowout losses actually hurt his numbers.

Yes getting outscored by 5.5 points per game is playing terrible basketball.

Using Daryl Morey's orginal pythagorean expectations a -5.5 scoring margin translates to a record of 26-56, a mere 6 games better than the worst record in the league this year. (the Magic at 20-62)

The Magic's actual scoring differential of -7.0 has an expectation of 22-60.

Here is an evaluation of Vucevic from SB Nation affiliate Orlando Pinstriped Post.

Huh? Moore was pretty terrible for the Magic.

Yeah, Lee likely won't be taken, but we could use Moore back in our rotation, with his back up call handling and knowledge of our system.
Lee may not have worked out as well as we had hoped but he is twice the player Moore will ever be.

Not happening.  Orlando struck gold with Vucevic and he's actually becoming one of the legit centers in the NBA. No way they deal him for Courtney Lee.
