We trade Brandon Bass or Jason Terry to Minnesota for Brandon Roy and the 26th pick in this years draft.

Minnesota does it to move Roy's salary, get a legit back up 4 or 2-guard with winning experience and because they do not need to get any younger.

We do it because we need to get younger, can move Roy's expiring deal later and Bass and Terry are not needed. Crawford and either White or Randolph can fill Terry's and Brandon's shoes. It then gives another pick to pick up a project to work with going forward.

This seems like the kind of reasonable, mid-sized deal that can help us and the team we trade with.

I don't see why Minnesota does that.  The pick has way too much value for our crap.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I wouldn't mind trading Bass but we need to bring in a solid pf to replace him.
