What have the Knicks proved over the years except 1 good regular season?

They've been an embarrasment in the playoffs.

Theu are going to be heavily relying on J kidd, Copeland, kenyn martin and JR smith ib these playoffs... oooooo no

Performance in the playoffs is not based on past success.

What have we done in the regular season that inspires any real confidence--aside from the loyalty we all feel as Celtics fans?

We're going to be heavily reliant on Chris Wilcox, Shav, Terrence Williams and Jordan Crawford... ooooooo no.

Lol well last year was Keyon Dooling, Greg Stiemsma, and Ryan Hollins.

KG: "Dude.... What is up with yo shorts?!"

Is a lower seeded team ever really a favored team to win?

Its fine if you think the knicks are gonna win but to dismiss the celtics like they don't have a chance is laughable.

Who is doing that.

Many of the ESPN prognosticators said NY in 6 or 7 games. That's not saying Boston stands no chance. Its their way of saying that it will be a close series. And a close series means a chance for a lower seed winning or "pulling off the upset."

BTW, A division winner can have a rather bad record and get a 4th seed while having a worse record than the 5th, 6th or even 7th seed. It is possible and has happened. In that case if the lower seed were to beat the higher seed I don't think it would be considered an upset. heck, most 5 seeds beating 4th seeds in the first round aren't considered upsets.

Their average prediction is that it'll take just over six games for the Knicks to put the C's away.

Doesn't really seem too unrealistic.

Celtics in six. But I agree that we have done little this year to earn respect.

My concern is I can't get my head around why we are playing as bad as we are. But I've felt this before. And in the past it was Rajon, KG and PP stepping up.(I can't say that Ray stepped up in the post season). We have to be worried whether Green, Lee, Terry and Bradley have another gear because we need them to have one.

I was watching the EC Playoff preview on NBATV and surprisingly Mike Fratello picked us over NY and to advance to the ECF.

Longtime analysts know this is gonna be a hard-fought, tough series for both teams.

I don't mind any choosing either side so long as is in 6 or 7 games. It looks a close series. I think the C's have an edge but it'll be a tough contest.

Picking the Knicks in 5 games though .... that is a puzzler.

not really. think about it.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

  • We may as well put Tyrion in at center.

Only 2 out of 10 people think that the Knicks will beat the Celtics in 5 games.

80% of the analysts say that it will go to 6/7 games, which means they all think that it'll be a close series.
I like Marcus Smart
