Might as well get this thread going.

Favorites matchups (East and West)?

Upsets?

Players to look out for?

For me, it's gotta be Boston-New York and Clippers-Grizzlies.  Two series where the teams have bad blood.  Gonna be great.

I'm pretty confident Chicago will defeat Brooklyn in the first round, despite not having HCA.

Look out for Harden in the West, and Paul George in the East.  These guys are finally the first options for their teams (on the biggest stage); I'm interested to see how they perform.

Sas vs Lal - Spurs in 7 (No Kobe, no closer)
Den vs GS - Nuggets in 5 (One Curry game)

EAST
Heat vs Bucks - Heat in 4.
Knicks vs Celtics - BY MY HEART, Celtics in 6.
Pacers vs Hawks - Pacers in 6
Nets vs Bulls - Bulls in 5

WEST
Thunder vs Rockets - Thunder in 6
Spurs vs Lakers - Lakers in 7
Nuggets vs Warriors - Nuggets in 5
Clippers vs Grizzlies - Clippers in 7

I guess the only series that's most interesting in the East is BOS-NYK hahah, honestly.

The Lakers will take advantage on an unhealthy Spurs team, and finish them off in San Antonio. Also, with the refs on their back, I can't see them losing. They will either blow them out, or get blown out. No Kobe clutch shots in this one. No Fisher 0.3 shots in this one as well. Lakers in 7.

I can't say Thunder will sweep Rockets. But it will be fascinating to see James Harden returning to OKC as a Rocket in the postseason. Houston's a young team, J Lin might not beat Russel Westbrook, but James Harden knows how OKC plays, and might be able to tap in their weakness assuming Coach Brooks didn't change anything significant from last season. Thunder in 6.

Nuggets and Warriors series will feature some high-powered offense and speed showdown. Two athletic teams pummeling one another. However, it's impossible to win at Mile High. Nuggets in 5.

Clippers were able to push Grizzlies to a seven-game series last year. These two teams are quite similar in some ways. Tayshaun Prince finally have a taste of the playoffs ever since 2009, so he should be excited for it. But not excited to get ousted in a long series. Clippers in 7.

East

MIA vs MIL - Heat in 4
NYK vs BOS - Celtics in 6
IND vs ATL - Pacers in 5
BKN vs CHI - Nets in 5

West

OKC vs HOU - Thunder in 4
SAS vs LAL - Spurs in 6
DEN vs GSW - Nuggets in 5
LAC vs MEM - Clippers in 7

Chicago, San Antonio, Denver and Golden State are all pretty hard to judge because their performance will be dictated by their health.

As for our series, I think New York is the more offensively talented team but I feel that we match up very well with them.  Melo will get his.  Limit everybody else, JR Smith most of all; if he isn't shooting them into it, he'll be shooting them out of it.  Because either way, he's going to shoot.

I think Nets are overrated. Harden won't allow a sweep that easily. Hawks will give Pacers a fight, but Pacers will be too big/physical for them. Lakers will push San Antonio, especially if D'Antoni keeps feeding Gasol and D. Howard the ball constantly in the low post. Grizzlies want revenge for last year, and they're better since they got rid of Rudy Gay. GSW are a new team to the playoffs, and Nuggets are too good this year. Miami needs no explanation.

Denver should take this series in 5.

Every game will be entertaining, though.

The Nuggets are just better defensively, plus they don't lose at home.

Iggy is so dangerous in the open court. Really has turned the Nuggets into a very good team

Is that Bogut playing for Golden State?

That is a nice boost for Golden State. Although, he looks pretty rusty. Not moving well. Maybe it won't be the boost I had initially thought it would be.

I love Carl Landry's game.

It must be so nice to have a low post scorer like him coming off your bench.

The Warriors' two best bench players would both be starters on the Celtics.

Just in case you didn't have a clear enough idea of how bad our bench is.

I love Jack and Landry.

I think both a FAs (Landry might have a player option) this summer.  Maybe Danny can offload some of our bad contracts (unlikely) and try to get one of them here.

Although I do like them on GS.  Such a fun team to root for.  Kinda like Sactown circa early 2000's, except Sac was better.

I still can't get over Denver winning 38 out of 41 home games. Incredible.
