If they sound good, they'll be too expensive, so I'd like to take a risk on some mid-level guy who has potential, yet isn't expensive. Lock him up for a bit.

I'd like Elton Brand, if possible.  He can play both C and PF.  He rebounds, defends, isn't useless on offense, and is willing to act as an enforcer.
