RIP celtics defense. looks like that great D we played last year will not be following us into the playoffs this year. on a side note, crawford and shavlik look ok tonight so far. i like the fact we are rolling to the hoop more.

Yeah. I wonder what happened to the defense, was it due to players leaving? Marquis Daniels? Peaches? Ray? I mean we have Bradley, Bass, Pierce, Garnett and Lee has been known to be a good defender.

It's either the new guys coming in, or just... maybe those guards were underrated.

Bass is a terrible help defender.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

I like Shav as the first big off the bench for rebounding and energy, but I wish we had more of a shotblocking and paint-clogging presence.  We still seem too small and vulnerable.
