Maybe Bass plus Sullinger would interest Cleveland?

But cerainly not just Bass

brandon bass + a bottle of wine, lets make cleveland GM drunk and force him to accept the trade

A bottle of wine, a video camera, and an underage prostitute; you're going to need some serious blackmail to get this trade done.

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
I like it.
How about we get some more pieces involved.
What about:

Brandon Bass
Terrence Williams

For

Kyrie Irving
Anderson Verajao

(throw in our 2015 2nd rounder if they insist)
"We are lucky we have a very patient GM that isn't willing to settle for being good and coming close. He wants to win a championship and we have the potential to get there still with our roster and assets."

quoting 'Greg B' on RealGM after 2017 trade deadline.
Read that last line again. One more time.

Lol I hope this was sarcasm, cause that trade is NEVER EVER gonna happen in any lifetime. Thats like trading Lebron and Wade for Big Baby and Etuwan Moore

After reading the first post in this thread, I'd be disappointed in any poster who responded seriously.

No, Williams is way too talented to make that deal.  We should sign and trade Delonte West instead, you know because his value on the free agent market is so high right now.  We only throw in Bass becuase we need to clear a roster space to make way for Irving.

Bringing the thread back to reality, what about Jeff Green for Anderson Varejao?  Which team says no?
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Probably the C's given AV's health issues. But I have no idea how much they value Jeff Green.

His contract says quite a bit, but who knows.

I think the C's say no for AV's health issues.   I'd rather move Bass and Melo for him but can't see Cleveland doing that.

Cavs owner would probably tell Ainge "I'll be right there to discuss this", hop on a plane, fly to Boston, meet Ainge at the airport, punch him in the face and then fly back to Cleveland without saying a word.
