No, that's just silly.

Why do that deal when we can just trade him to Miami for LeBron, Wade and Bosh?

We'd need to cut Shavlik and DJ White first though to create Roster space. 

Unless...we can include those two guys as well, then Miami would give us two draft picks too :)

Sensible response: "This deal is crazy, the other team would never even consider it."

Still-deluded trade proposer: "It would work if we somehow found another (unspecified) team who would trade us their great player Z for our crappy player X - who we could then flip for some real talent."
