Every time I see this guy I'm reminded that the Knicks picked him 20th, just before Rondo. Knick fans were booing the selection on draft night.  What a poor decision by the Knicks at a time when they were in desperate need of a point guard. Oh well. ;D

In an alternate universe, absolutely no one is arguing over whether the Celtics are better without Balkman.

That video is pretty crazy though; seems like a guy who's got a lot of frustrations with how his life's turned out.

Funny thing was they were on a 5 or 6 game winning streak before this happened.

I think its just frustration, he only scored 6 points at that point in the game.

Dude better be careful over there. He thinks he's tough in that video but those dudes fight dirty. He needs some therapy or something.

"Petron Blaze import Renaldo Balkman melted down at the end of the Boosters' loss against the Alaska Aces Friday night. The whole bizarre sequence ended with the import grabbing at teammate Arwind Santos' neck."

'Import'

Taking the 'business of basketball' to a whole new vernacular

Irrelevant. If someone else fights, doesn't mean you should too.

That's actually the official term

what are you talking about. I'm simply saying that before you choke someone in a totally foreign country you should respect the fact that your not in Kansas anymore. He could get killed over there if he's not more careful.

That doesn't change the fact that the the term is a bit brusque..

It's probably just a improper, indirect translation, with no exact English word for its Filipino equivalent. But whatever, there's a lot of brusque words :)
