My jaw is still open from that last play.  The best coach in clutch.  Nobody draw plays like Doc.

I always said when I left the Celtics, I could not go to heaven, because that would
be a step down. I am pure 100 percent Celtic. I think if you slashed my wrists, my
blood would’ve been green.  -  Bill "Greatest of All Time" Russell

TP.

Beat me to it.

That last backpick by Pierce and the layup by Green puts a smile on the old coach's face.

Beautifully conceived, Doc.
Coined the CelticsBlog term, "Euromistake."

We need him to do it more often.  I'm a lot more comfortable with Doc drawing a play than I am with Pierce running an iso at this point.

Great play, great win.

I think they were looking for Pierce to get the ball. Great play by Doc!

The dreaded PP isolation. Thankful it was only used as a decoy!!

Nice play Jeff!

This is one of Doc's strength. Gotta give him credit for that. Why him letting Bass messed up still kinda baffles me though.

I thought until KG threw that pass that Pierce was going to get it on the block. I don't blame David West for thinking the same thing.

I think that might actually have been Armond...

Doc needs to draw up plays more often instead of letting pierce go iso all the time. That was beautiful.

TP!

Doc drew 2 plays, Armond said they should do the Paul Pierce back pick play.

Credit is on both of them.
Doc with the play.
Armond with re-assuring Doc that, that play will work.

I like Doc. Is a great defensive coach. But sometimes he make mistakes on last seconds of the game. Remember last points of Belinellis or lasts minutes @ Bobcats

Everybody makes some mistakes. Think of all the games he saved... the alley-oops, the backcourt runs...
