I agree. Van Gundy should have stuck with Alston who had a great playoff run that year

No kidding.

Jameer was bad and it messed up their offense something fierce when he was in. But Jameer was the leader of that team, makes it hard to keep him on the bench. Especially when Alston had been so up and down in the post season.

Even then we remember Jameer being out there a lot, but he was playing backup guard minutes that's all.
