I agree.  He sounds like a bright kid, and like he really has matured.  Especially if they're going to have JET at the 2 off the bench, having a big strong PG to pair with him could be very effective.

I hope he plays like a point guard during his next stint, whenever that comes.  If he just jacks up shots like he did against Portland, there's no more hope for him.

seems like we're really overloaded in the backcourt for next year: Rondo, Bradley, Lee, Jet, Crawford, Williams and possibly Barbosa whom Danny said he wants back.   Wonder if Danny will be swinging a deal this offseason to move 1-2 of these guys for useful big man.

Hmm assume it will take them a year to recover from ACL so probably of our guards will be traded before they comeback.. unless Crawford will develop well in Cs... he's younger and lot of upsides

two years for williams? wow, first i heard of that signing.

well, yes, he cant shoot worth a lick. and yes he has a history of being a grade A knucklehead. but....

if he has matured then he may be an outstanding pg off the bench. he certainly can pass, is a great defender, and is taller than most pg.

now if doc can just get crawford to stop taking circus shots, the celtics bench will be beyond good.

doubt Barbosa comes back. I don't see Williams as a gaurd even though he plays like one, but he still needs to earn his spot during training camp.Ideally Jet should go. Maybe the Twolves want him.

If he can be an imposing physical presence at the 1 spot, that would be huge for us.

But at the point focus on distribution and assists - only take good solid shots from outside or shots when attacking the rim in the lane.

If he can do those two things, he could become very valuable.
