Lou Amundson said the teams in the mix to sign him are Chicago, New York, Boston and Miami.

Good. He'd bring a different skill set from DJ White's that would be welcome.

Agreed. He'd be a solid end of bench big guy for us.

If we don't want to play pure smallball all season long, an Amundson or White aren't end of the bench guys.

Can't see why he'd want to choose the other options over us..I think we need him more and despite records have as good a shot to make a run

Everybody goes to New York. Rarely I've seen players go to Chicago lately. There are some who wants to chase after rings by taking their talents to South Beach Miami.
Amundson should come to Boston when it's necessary, and that is now!!

Is it too much to ask for just one guy with length?

If I was him Id pick the heat and knicks over us. Why would he choose here?

I'd rather have Amundson than Erick Dampier.

From Amundson's perspective, if he considers financial self-interest, he should be interested in the team that is most likely to want him back next season and then possibly use early Bird rights to give him a contract that is more than the minimum.
The Knicks seem the most likely to overpay a scrub who does well, but they have to create a roster spot for him. So, it is probably best for Amundson to wait a bit and see if the Knicks want to make room for him.

Amundson is a 6'9" guy who rebounds and blocks shots at an above-average rate. Would you prefer a 6'11" who does both at a worse rate?

I dont see him getting a minute of playing time with either of those teams He would at least get some burn with us and at least in his mind probably has the potential to overtake White and Wilcox. I can see going to Miami because of a ring if thats the only end game which a lot of the time its not. Who was just saying the other day that they care about playing more than riding coattails? Saying they didnt want to go to miami and just ride the bench? Drawing a blank

Mmm I see us as having more minutes for him then any of those teams? And besides the heat I'm sorry but I think we can advance further then the Knicks
