Jessica Camerato ‏@JCameratoNBA

Maine Red Claws have acquired former #Celtics guard (and 2008 championship team member) Gabe Pruitt from Sioux Falls Skyforce. #celticstalk

But why?  He's terrible!  Have the C's already soured on TWill, and are they getting ready to call up Shelvin Mack--so the Claws are looking for Mack's replacement?

He had such a sweet deal. Court side seats to our title run and they paid him. Lucky

Hopefully, he's figured out to lay off the sauce before sitting down behind the wheel these days.

He always had some talent.  Good perimeter defender, decent handle, good jumpshot.  Good size for a PG, athletic.

Too bad his mind was more on booze than it was on basketball.  Always felt he could have made something of himself.

As a career .321 shooter in the NBA, how good can that jump shot be?

I was talking more about the mechanics than the result.  I agree that he never shot well in games.
