Buyout?

Too bad they couldn't sell high on him at the deadline.

I was walking along the road with two friends
the sun was setting
suddenly the sky turned blood red
I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence
there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city
my friends walked on and I stood there trembling with anxiety
and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.

Not holding out much hope that they buy him out. (Friday is deadline?)
If they do Bos has to be one of his preferred destinations because he would get major minutes and possibly start. A good opportunity for him to show off for a new contract.

They wouldn't suspend a guy without pay to buy him out - that would just increase tensions between the two sides, and probably violate the terms of the contract as well.

When a buyout is imminent they usually just sit the guy without (public) explanation.

December/January was our window to get him, just after Skiles left and Boylan took over, and we still had bodies to spare. When Sanders was first hurt and then sick, he put up big #s.

If he came here in a buyout, man, I'd like our chances. Highly unlikely. :(

I'd be surprised if he were bought out, but I think we'd still have enough room under the hard cap to offer him the BAE.

I wonder if his showing up late was a form of protest to force his release.

Sign with Miami over the opportunity to start with us? I'm not sold on that. Then again, D-leaguers are turning us down these days so you’re probably right.

No buyout

A source tells Yahoo Sports that the Bucks will not be giving Samuel Dalembert a buyout.
There were some whispers about a possible buyout after Dalembert was suspended for Tuesday's game. It's not happening. Dalembert is valuable insurance for the Bucks behind Larry Sanders, who has had back problems this season. He's just going to have to suck up his meager playing time, show up on time to shootarounds and wait to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.

And that's the smart way for the Bucks to approach this.

Probably, but the smarter thing to do would have been to trade him.
