The Thunder signed Derek Fisher for the remainder of the season early on Monday. Fisher, a five-time NBA champion, should have an easy transition after playing 20 games for OKC before their playoff run last season. He averaged 4.9 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.6 steals in 20 minutes during that stretch, which gives an accurate picture of his fantasy value.

As well as Reggie Jackson has played for them, i assume this is just to be the 3rd/emergency pg now that Maynor is gone.
Still, Fisher is garbage.

Also 1.4 assists (pertinent to PGs).
Somewhat notably he did slightly better in Dallas in 9 games this year (8.6/1.7/3.4 on 25 minutes/game)

Reggie Jackson has done a really good job for OKC. I hope they don't bench him for Fisher.

He has largely rode coat tails his whole career albeit with the knack of a timely shot here and there, no surprise.

I guess his family doesn't need him to spend time with them whenever there's a job available with a contender, with the added bonus of being on an NBA roster, which can allow him to extend his reign as NBAPA president.

Hs a free agent hes allowed to go wherever he wants.
Of course he did ask to be bought out by the Mavs a couple months earlier to spend time with his family but those are just mere facts

Walking out on one team to join a more competitive one later on....
Gee Fisher has never done that before...what a surprise.

Sadly given how much they played him last year I think this will happen.

Reagrdless, its a good move for OKC. His presence in the locker room probably helped their finals run last year, no reason to not do the same this year.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised. He consistently was exploited when I watched OKC play.

When I watched him in the playoffs I thought he was a pretty average backup PG. At 37, he's obviously gonna have trouble on point guards but I think he did a great job at starting the second unit's offense and hitting 38% of his 3s.
