I hope he gets in their way and he doesn't sign and we get him!
Translation from agentspeak: My player is the next reasonably skilled center who's going to be paid a bag of money due to the starved market.

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
The Pistons have a lot of young and inexpensive players. They also have a bunch of overpaid bench players. They probably want to wait on his extension to see the shape this team takes in order to make sure they don't end up paying a ton of money for a mediocre team like they did last time they had cap space.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

The contracts of their bench players seem pretty reasonable overall.

Lets say that they let him go..

Why wouldn't he come to Boston?
Give me a reason. Weather? Could be, but detroit aint that warm either.
Coach? Doc Rivers is a pretty good coach.
Players? We have good, smart, talented players.

Why wouldn't he want to play with Rondo, Green, Sullinger and Bradley?

If you think about it this line up with Monroe can ruffle some feathers in the East

Rondo
Bradley
Green
Sullinger
Monroe

Young, Athletic(except for sully), and Smart group of players for the first 5.
