I'm looking forward to his one game suspension.

With the NBA being so consistent with it's sanctions and all.

Not sure about a suspension for this.  Does Tyson have any history of confrontation with officials?  I can't recall any such history of the top of my head.

This seems to be more of a jovial "butt-slap", in a sort of congratulatory manner.  I'm assuming, by the elation of the other players on the bench, this was immediately after a big moment during the game for the Knicks.

Unless Tyson has a previous history, this probably doesn't warrant anything more than a warning.

That should be a suspension, but I'm over here in years laughing.  That's hilarious.  I bet the ref was like. "Oh, stop it, Tyson!"  Hahahaha

I like the little buttcheek clenching wiggle the ref does after the slap
Yup

Definitely a fair stance to take...how were Rondo's situations any different to that though?

Just because Tyson is happy about a call and not angry he gets away with it?

It makes it entirely different that Tyson is reacting happily about a call. Come on, does this really deserve a suspension? Or instead just a call saying keep your hands to yourself Tyson even if you're happy?

I think it is clearly the latter. You have to look at it in context. Expecting or asking for a suspension from this is just petty.

Oh come on.  There's a huge difference between what Chandler does here and the confrontational contact Rondo has made.

Really? Do you remember Rondo getting suspended for making a slight contact while joking with a ref? The ref didn't even register the contact, but Atlanta's GM made a call afterwards and got Rondo suspended.

Same could be said about Rondo's last suspension.

Yeah, Danny Ferry made a snake move, but Rondo's bump was not 'joking'.  That was confrontational, even if the contact looked inadvertent.  Given Rondo's history, the league had no choice.

Chandler's buttslap was completely inoffensive.  Odd, but inoffensive.

He's also leaving the bench, that's a 1 game suspension too!  ::)

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

I'm pretty sure Rondo's last suspension was more about his lack of cooperation when the league was investigating if I recall correctly. It was an absurd suspension nonetheless.

Fair enough, but Rondo's was at least somewhat confrontational and he has a history. And do you really want to be that guy? Danny Ferry pulled a bush league move and looked like a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. for doing it, we should be better than that.

Yeah. Chandler just gave a "that's why I paid you a thousand bucks before the game and put a small down payment with your bookie" love tap. That's all. No big deal.
