Sounds like what I'd expect. Hope Crawford pans out and we definitely need a couple of big guys if we want to get out of the first round or even make the playoffs...

I think Danny did a good job getting both TWill and Jordan for Collins.
Jeff Green - Top 5 SF

Can't imagine that Garnet would waive the no trade without Pierce also being on the move.

Good trade for Crawford. Two more egos to deal with; but with Terry, KG and PP should not be a problem. T-Will is a monster athelete and Crawford can score so will be an interesting season if nothing else. Need a big to get to the playoffs.

Darko to the rescue?

Sorry, Sully is not our future. Players with MAJOR back surgery will never be the same.  Like Jeff Foster was, great rebounder, but played 10 games, missed 30, played 20, missed 10---constantly hurt and missed a ton of games.  We had a big a few years ago, can't remember his name(pony tail) who was always out more than he played!  Pro hoops is not something you tell a guy, post op for two HNP's, to go try! A shame really!

Also, hope if they do ask Darko, he tells 'em to shove it! Doc just did him wrong, and ran him out of town!

The decisions will be trade or keep Pierce Garnett Rondo. It will be like the last few days all over again.

Can hardly wait. Non-stop bs rumors only to find out we've been getting our leg pulled.

Didn't Jeff Ruland have major back surgery in the 80's before he was traded from the Bullets to the sixers?

ETA; nevermind his was foot problems.
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Apparently that's was all the liking it took to get him.

Players with MAJOR back surgery will never be the same.

Not sure how major is MAJOR for you, but players who have had back surgery early in their careers include Brook Lopez (in college) for a herniated disc, Danilo Gallinaro (in his rookie season) for a bulging disc, and Al Harrington (in the summer after his second season) for his lower back.  Martell Webster seems to be having his best season after previously having multiple microdiscectomies.

I suspect that there is a greater chance of full recovery of playing ability for a young player than there is for an old player whose problems are the result of years of abuse from professional sports.
