They need much more than an "emergency power forward."  How about a guy that can actually play and get rebounds?


At this point you arent going to get anyone better than Green/Bass.  You just need someone on the bench in case one of them gets in foul trouble.

HArangody and Samuels both got decent minutes for the CAVS the year after Lebron left.  They both avereaged around a rebound every 4.5 minutes.  I know thats not great numbers and it was a bad team, but one of them would be good enough to add for the remainder of the year.

Some of the buyout candidates are better than Collins.
Danny will be able to bring in some benchwarmers.
Obviously, it would have been great if the Cs could have traded nothing, and received Gortat in return, but that didn't happen...

It really isn't hard to be better than Collins was for us this seasons -- he was a notch below even his usual mediocre standards.
