Can't understand why we included Collins, does he really save that much tax money? Won't we just need to replace him with another veteran at a similar salary?

I'm the least bit of a Collins fan, but I hope there's some sort of replacement or upgrade plan here.He was a big body and while I'm not usually a big fan of just having players because they are large, with our team it was much needed.
