Uh oh stuffs getting close now!!!

It's should be right about now that, out of the blue, the Utah Jazz trade Big Al to a team like Denver for a package of picks and young players. There will be no rumors and no one will have seen it coming.

i don't think the Cs make a major deal. just a piece or they wait to see who is getting bought out to fill in some roster spots

Don't think Ainge will go off the deep end. But -- according to sources -- he did watch the last two games.

This one makes no sense. I really doubt he doesn't watch all the C's games when he says he watches a majority of games across the league.

I think that was meant as a joke.

Gut feeling i just had we get Josh smith in a 3 way trade with the Jazz. Hawks get milsap or jefferson from them we give up Bass and jeff going to utah and we get smith. More pieces needed to be added but main guys are in there. Just a strange feeling.

Side question while we are discussing PIerce trades: does anyone know the cap implications of the PIerce deal, where only 5-6 million is guaranteed next year? The key question to me is, what is the cap hold for a team that trades for him?

If there's a Higher Power, please take a second in the next two hours to compel some NBA GM to take Brandon Bass off Ainge's hands.

Where is the "Insider" A. Sherrod Blakely? Isn't he the Mel Kiper of the trade deadline?

Blakely: "Celts currently rumored to be offering Fab Melo for Lebron James and a Heat first round pick. Heat are shocked that the offering price is so low..."

We're gonna see deals in final hour of NBA trade season. Just not sort of deals Twitter wants to see ... apart from maybe the Josh Smith-er

Who thinks we get hit by a bombshell like the Perk trade that came out of nowhere?

I do but I think we end up happy and not confused like the perk one. I think we end up with Josh Smith somehow.

Yeah I don't think Pierce or KG go anywhere but I think we end up with Smith or Gortat for one more run at a title. Something is going to go down
