All the people who want to Pitino this team - ship Pierce and Garnett out for scrubs - are going to be very disappointed in 90 minutes or so.

By this standard, Pitino never Pitinoed this team.  Had he shipped Antoine out for assets perhaps the glory days of the Pierce era would have started a few years sooner.

God, I hope so.

He has to, because it's clear the team is not going anywhere as constructed. 3 guards, 2 big men, and no real center just doesn't seem to work.
