I would love to have JO back to backup Garnett for the next 3-4 months.
I don't think Danny can find any backup center that brings more quality to the table than JO does. I think it would need to be a trade though. I doubt JO signs here of his own volition. I imagine he'd want to go to a team with a better shot at a title.

Wouldn't you be afraid he would be the gutless scum he was last time? No thanks!

Yeah he'd be a far better waiver pickup than you usually can get. Would really solidify our defense for when KG was off the floor.

As much as we dislike him, the Celtics could do worse... of course he'd probably be injured before playing, but IF (enormous IF) he wants and can stay on the court, we'd be more than ok.
Right now we need a backup center badly, hopefully Danny can pull something out of his hat, while not trading any major piece.

I would love to have JO back if he was waived by the Suns. Looks like he could actually have a healthy year and having him off the bench would be huge for the big man rotation.

I would like him back again as the player.
Just hope his injury luck has really changed.

Would love to have him back for what he CAN bring.
The questions are "can he bring it" (injuries rearing their ugly head again) and "will he bring it" (depending on who you believe last year regarding whether he was really injured to the point where he couldn't play or just dogging it).
I would really want to pull the trigger and get him if it were I being Danny, which shows how desperately we need bigs, but would have a hard time doing it because of that old maxim:
"Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice.....""

Geez, no ... you're supposed to learn from your mistakes, not repeat them.
All those dunks sure are high percentage shots... the Cs are going nowhere without added size and some form of shot blocking ability. In their current situation, beggers can't be choosers.

I can think of a much better option. Fly into Serbia and bring back Darko Milicic.
JO is clearly better than nothing at the end of the bench but the memories of how slow he was are tough to think about.
